Sometimes you need to admit to yourself that you need new armour. Once you know the places and enemies, there's not much to see. I mean that nothing was particularly hard to think about. Especially in Rune Prana before the last couple floors when I crafted proper armour, especially on Floor 4 and the poison rooms of Floor 5. By that I don't mean that I wouldn't die plentiful because I did. I liked this playthrough but I somehow don't see the difficulty. It is funny that this is just the same as at the end of the first arc. The other 2 rooms were the room with the fairies and the end boss, they use loads of elemental magic and almost nothing else, so the element powder silver ring + Lvl 7 Prelude to Love is all it takes to disable them. With the new armour, nothing would come close. Before, anything in that room touching me would kill me in one hit. Sure, it should be obvious, but I'm still always surprised by the difference crafting makes. Walking into that room like that felt actually quite comfortable. Also one can't use magic on a monster after using that.įor Lvl 10 Formuade one only needs any Lvl 10 ingredient and a Hot-hot fruit. Same works with Lvl 10 Prelude to Love except it already sets the HP to 1 on its own, but getting Lvl 10 Prelude to Love is more of a grind than I can be bothered with right now. The HP refill cannot refill beyond the max HP so it sets the HP to 1. This works because the Formuade sets the max HP to 1 and keeps the original HP, like I mentioned.

On the plus side, I came up with a way to one punch every non-boss monster in the game to use for such occasions without needing tons of disastrous dishes:Ģ. There are 4 large strong monsters in a close space that move fast, wouldn't fall from just one charge attack and are mostly immune to what Object X does, so dodging isn't really a thing here. In the first of the last 3 non-optional rooms, I finally had to make the total defense armour. That just felt wrong because the first time around, I needed 30 attempts (probably even some more, I lost count). Actually I don't remember much of that fight because it was over so fast. Death Wall fell after maybe 5 charge attacks before it got to use anything physical. It feels like a whole new level of cheapness. Pouring all one has into magic attack does really strange things.

Decided not to use it until I was 2/3 done with the last floor of Rune Prana but still. Perhaps what Metastase meant is that the challenge is to make a challenge.Īfter a pause from playing for a couple days, I'm now finished with Arc 3 because the rosary is a really nice item. I don't know man, I think I did this challenge thing wrong.
